Good Morning! Well, it would be a good morning if you had a hot, nutritious breakfast. Everyone needs a good breakfast to start the day. Here’s a cute, creative way to make French Toast.

Bread and Cookie CuttersStart off with your bread and egg mixture.
Cut a hole in the bread Use cute cookie cutters to cut a whole in the middle of the bread. I have a set of cookie cutters from Crate & Barrel. I suggest this set for a year of cookie cutters.
Making French ToastDip the bread and toss it on the pan. Pour some of the egg mixture into the middle of the bread.
Hole in the Middle French ToastViola! You have French Toast and scrambled eggs! So simple, cute, and delicious! Add some fruit and orange juice and you’ve got a well balanced breakfast.

I must admit that I did not come up with this idea. I first made this in Foods class in Junior High. Thank you Mr. Binner. This breakfast has many names, Egg in a Basket, Egg in a Hole, Toad in a Hole, One-eyed Jack, etc. Let me know what you think of this recipe!

**Just a tip** Make regular french toast with flavored coffee creamer instead of milk! It adds a delicious sweet flavor to the french toast.
